Yahoo! News - Study: Small Doses of Caffeine Best to Stay Awake
Small, frequent doses of caffeine are best for truck drivers, doctors and others who need to stay awake over a long period of time, according to a U.S. study published Tuesday.
I’ve been substituting various tea for coffee for few weeks now.. but really miss the taste of fresh brewed coffee in the mornning.. and warm latte to pump me up during bicyle ride :(
On a related news: gourmet coffees (Starbucks) have lot more caffeine than non-gourmet competitors

The Big Lab Experiment - Was our universe created by design? By Jim Holt
“When I invented chaotic inflation theory, I found that the only thing you needed to get a universe like ours started is a hundred-thousandth of a gram of matter, … That’s enough to create a small chunk of vacuum that blows up into the billions and billions of galaxies we see around us. It looks like cheating, but that’s how the inflation theory works—all the matter in the universe gets created from the negative energy of the gravitational field. So, what’s to stop us from creating a universe in a lab? We would be like gods!”
Reminds me of the last scene of Men In Black where the camera zoom out and out, until it zooms out of our Universe, which turns out to be just a tiny marble aliens are playing with…

((((( SUPER SIZE ME ))))) A FILM OF EPIC PORTIONS
This has got to be one of the most entertaining and informative documentary I’ve seen. The main premise of the film is the “Producer / Director / Guinea Pig” Morgan Spurlock challenging himself to live of the “McDiet” for a whole month — eating nothing but what they sell at McDonald’s, including water. It’s quite amazing and shocking to see how an average healthy person quickly gains 30+ pounds in a short period of time and seriously endangering himself with a damaged liver, while living off this fast food diet. If you are like me, you will NOT want to go to any fast food restaurants when you come out of this movie… well, except for In ‘n Out maybe :)
Check out the “not so fun” facts on the movie site.
UPDATE: MSN News has a good story about the movie.
