AIDS/LifeCycle3

It’s been almost a week since I got back from the 7 days, 585 miles, bicycle ride from SF to LA. Thick, dark tan on both arms that looks like velvet dress gloves, reminding myself of the experience… Other than the ugly tan, I’m recovering from a slight knee tendonitis which resulted from riding too aggressively on the first few days. The tan will tay around much much longer though… and I hope, the memory will too. So… what have I learned from this? I’ve learned the value of team work in first-hand. Whether it’s a group of few riders, drafting behind one another to save energy, or a group of 1200 plus riders and volunteers, raising close to $5 million for a good cause.. team work is very important. I learned the value of perseverance, acceptance, friendship, and humility.. but also having positive attitude. No doubt, this was the most valuable experience of my life so far. And I thank everyone who helped to make my journey possible!

Check out some pictures from AIDS/LifeCycle3! :)

AIDS/LifeCycle 2004

Hi friends and family… and random visitors of my blog!

As many of you already know.. I will be participating in AIDS/LifeCycle in June. AIDS/LifeCycle is a very challenging bicycle ride (585 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles in 7 days), in support of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the HIV/AIDS services of the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center. It’s life saving cause.. and it will be a life changing experience for me!

And I need your help!. I have made a commitment to raise a significant amount of money for this cause. Clicking on the image above or this link https://www.aidslifecycle.org/2015 will bring you to my own personal fundraising page, where you can make a contribution to support my efforts. Your contribution is fully tax-deductible and will make a real difference in the lives of many affected by HIV and AIDS. So please! make your donation today and help me achieve my goal! Every bit helps!!

Thanks everyone! :)

Using 10% brain

Scientific American: Do we really use only 10 percent of our brains?

“The 10-percent myth has undoubtedly motivated many people to strive for greater creativity and productivity in their lives–hardly a bad thing. The comfort, encouragement and hope that it has engendered helps explain its longevity. But, like so many uplifting myths that are too good to be true, the truth of the matter seems to be its least important aspect.”
