Nikon USA: 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR Zoom-Nikkor

I’ve been eyeing this lens for long time.. and I finally pulled the trigger ^^;;;

My first impressions:

  • Build quality is excellent (made in Japan, nice!)
  • It’s not as big as I had expected it to be (without the hood)
  • It’s heavier than I had expected it to be
  • VR works! (I shot some indoor pics at 1/3″ and I cannot see a shake)

I can’t wait to shoot some pics with it this weekend ^^
