I scored 16%. How about you? ^^
(Thanks Lorraine!)
Because my brain is too small to rememeber all these junks…
This site has comprehensive lists of TopGear and FifthGear episodes (british automobile shows which I blogged about earlier) which you can download using BitTorrent. I’m addicted to these shows — I’ve been watching one or two episodes a day for last couple of days :-)
I wonder why Americans can’t produce good shows like these when there are so many more auto enthusiasts in US than anywhere in the world.
Personal Made Public: Sorting your email with GMail
Here’s a cool trick to “create” disposable Gmail addresses (for use with questionable online stores, for example). You can then setup a filter to automatically label them. This way you can easily find out which vendor has sold your email address to a Spammer, and create a filter to automatically delete them if necessary.
It’s sort of like DIY Address Guard which you get with Yahoo Plus
This is pretty cool. Just print the PDF, cut, fold… and voila~ stylish bookmark that goes on corners of your books.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’ve added new “Vote” section on my blog. See the side panel, below links section. Please vote if you get a chance. Also, let me know if you want me to put some interesting poll there. Thanks!

Here’s a good brief summary of the Hwang Woo-suk scandal, in plain words.
I just saw this on my.yahoo.com Ask Yahoo! module: Who came up with the theory of six degrees of separation?
What’s eerie is that I was just reading about it (don’t ask me where) this morning on The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference!
But there is more! Over the weekend, I was thinking about a neat hack to integrate a Yahoo product with the new Yahoo! Map, and this morning, I see the same thing suggested by someone in internal message board!
I must be a psychic… or a jedi. :-D

Boing Boing: SNL video: Woomba, the feminine hygeine robot
Check out this hilarious SNL “commercial” parody of Roomba, the Robotic Vacuum.
On today’s Fresh Air, Terry interviewed Bart Ehrman, professor and chair of Department of Religious Studies at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He’s the author of Misquoting Jesus: The Story Behind Who Changed the Bible and Why.
Ehrman talked about how the modern Bible (King James Bible) is significantly different from the orginal scriptures (okay, I hope this is not news to anyone). He, then presented several concrete examples of such differences. One mentioned was how Jesus is often portrayed as transcending, calm, and forgiving in the Book of Luke, but completely opposite in the Book of Mark: angry and anguished.
Ehrman concluded the interview with his own personal changes in faith: from a non-believer, to born-again Fundamental Christian, then to an Agnostic. He does not discount the importance of the Bible, however. Although he knows that modern bible is not authentic, he believes that it is the foundation of Western Civilization.
I’ve always asked the very questions that Ehrman talks about in his book. I believe a religious faith is something far more than just few hours of ceremonies a week. And as someone who is not (yet?) able to blindly commit my complete faith on which I am not certain is “the truth”, this kind of topic is both intriguing and important to me.
Go listen to the interview yourself. I highly recommend it!
How much do Americans spend on Christmas gifts every year?
“In 2003, Americans spent an average of $835 on holiday gifts.”
Holy cow, that’s many times more than how much I usually spend.
